Laser etching vs printing
- Laser etching removes the anodized surface to reveal bare aluminum: permanent, one color (the metal), ideal for logos with clean lines.
- Pad or UV printing puts ink on acrylic or painted surfaces: allows brand colors, but can wear with heavy use.
- Top-of-lid print areas are about 1.5"–2.25" in diameter, so a round or stacked logo works best.
