The short answer
Bring two tiers: a cheap volume item for everyone who passes the booth (rolling papers from $0.55, lanyards from $0.62) and a keeper for qualified buyers (grinders from $1.60, tote bags from $2.10). Plan for roughly 1 volume item per expected visitor and 1 keeper per 10.
Two-tier swag plan
| Tier | Item | Minimum | Price at minimum | Lowest price |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Volume | 1 1/4 Rolling Papers | 250 | $1.40 | $0.55 |
| Volume | One Color Lanyards | 250 | $1.10 | $0.62 |
| Volume | Smoke Session in Progress Door Hangers | 5,000 | $0.07 | $0.07 |
| Keeper | 3-Piece Acrylic Grinders – Assorted | 120 | $3.00 | $1.60 |
| Keeper | One Color Tote Bags | 250 | $4.25 | $2.10 |
Logistics
- Ship swag to the venue's advance warehouse or your hotel; lighters must travel by ground, so don't plan to fly them in.
- Totes double as carry bags for the rest of your swag and keep the logo moving around the show floor.
- Order at least 3 weeks before the show for stocked Rapid Run items; earlier for anything custom.
Frequently asked
How much swag should I bring to a cannabis trade show?
About one low-cost item per expected booth visitor and one higher-value keeper for every ten, reserved for qualified buyers.
What trade show swag gets kept?
Grinders, tote bags and rolling trays. Papers and lanyards get used up or left behind, but cost the least per contact.
